Airbag Recall

Has anyone with a 7th gen had their airbag replaced? I got a notice in the mail, curious if the replacement airbags are any safer than the old ones.

Well, considering they're being recalled due to metal fragments shooting out when the airbag is deployed, I think it's safer.

If the old ones are recalled, they wouldn't put an equally as dangerous new one back in your car, so of course it would be safer. Do iiiiit!

I waited so long because initially I wasn't included in the recall but then I guess they expanded the recall and now I'm included.

ah i see either way even if there wasn't a recall the airbags have a shelf life just like tires so its a win win situation especially if the new ones don't blow a hole in your head like those poor people. i hope atleast there family gets paid and doesn't have to worry about money ever again. f**k honda for suppressing that life saving information for monetary gains they forever fuked up my respect for them. f**k you honda you pieces of s**t.
