lol...DEI should have something in ANYONE's price range, considering they are the manufacturer of about 50 different alarm systems (including Viper, Venom, Cobra and Hornet...just to name a few)

MECP...that tru wat u say. i've never come to the problem about parkin on a hill. i never had a problem with the hood pin switch i had on my white civic, but i did on my blue civic. there's good points to everything. oh yeah, i guess u r certified, right?

Basically. Im in the process. Its just that I have to drive to Fresno (Cali, which is 3 or 4 hrs from where I live) or something to get certified. My 2nd favorite brand that has cool remotes is Avital. I like that glow in the dark stuff.

Was the paint on your car stock? Or was it custom? I dont have no hood pin switches installed in my car. The person who were to try to break into my car, would have fun trying to find 2 sirens, 1 being a battery backup, which is neatly installed under my intake ;) So if that person were to take my battery cables off, he/she then would stil hear the siren under the hood, and 2 piezo's tucked in my interior dash.

i have had 4 civics total. right now im down to 1 that needs a motor. anyways, im workin on getting certified also. as for the alarm, the avitals are nice as hell too with the glow in the dark buttons and they work nice too. i had the crimestopper on both my civics and they worked fine. now i bought the viper 791 xv but i havent installed it yet cuz im trying to get rid of my truck. it's f**ked up, so i don't want it anymore. but im getting the PIEZO (small sirens) inside the car, one behind the dash lookin out to a vent and maybe one under a seat. a few kill switches and a fuel cut off. i'll think of something.

Just rip apart your dash, cut the tubing connecting to 1 of your airvents, and stick the piezo deep enough so you cant grab it. Have you ever heard one of those? Usually, when I wanna hear how a siren sounds like, I just straight connect it to the battery and listen for a quick 2 seconds. With them lil piezo's... right when I stuck the lead wires onto the battery, I pulled that s**t right back away! Those freakin lil things are LOUD for there size.

best alarm i've seen is a bolt in the ground to lock your car to.

for my brother's in law's si, i got him the matrix 2.5x (just as good as the 3.5, but w/o the remote start), boot, and the club. he's been safe.
