2.25" drop is a lot... are those 17x7 rims? If you do you will probably have wheel well scraping especially at the ends of the tires... i have a bit of a problem with my car doing that so i am gettin some coilovers... and mine are only dropped 1.75" in teh front and 1.5" in the back. Maybe you konw this, but i thought id warn you anyways just in case, cuz id hate to see you buy springs then have them cause more problems then theyre worth.lanojp1 said:i bought them off somebody from this site in the classified section, they were like 85 shipped...
thanks for lookin out bro, last night i actually decided that i might get adjustable coilovers because of this reason, buying springs that are too low and my tires will scrape. Even tho my friend has 17x7 wheels with 50 series tires on his civic lowered 2.25 and his car was fine, but every car is different and thats why im gunna get something adjustable...SkeeboSi said:2.25" drop is a lot... are those 17x7 rims? yah coilovers would be a good idea... they are definately worth the extra money. wheel scrape? no problem, just readjust. but yah it all depends on the springs and struts you have really... neuspeed springs (the ones i have) tend to sag just a lil so they are kinda soft and give a lot on some bumps... cuz i know a guy with 18" rims on his Si and its lowered a good 2 inches... and you cant even fit yur finger in the wheel gap... and he has no problems scraping.lanojp1 said:thanks for lookin out bro, last night i actually decided that i might get adjustable coilovers because of this reason, buying springs that are too low and my tires will scrape.
