exactly, there is no set definition, and there never will be....it just seems like everyone is quick to point out something is rice, or bash somebody because of it, but they sholdnt even care....its not like they are being forced to put altezza's on their cars, paint them neon green, or put huge kits on them, but if thats what a person wants to do, more power to them...people need to chill out and not worry about what everyone else is doin

anyway a "sleeper ricer" is someone who you think is a ricer and then actually has something descent under the hood, which in tom's case is true. i know it sounds bad but just think of him as a Mini Rice4Brainz... slooooowly stepping away from the ricier side of things :wink:

I usualy label everyone with a modded import a ricer. Usually its just a lil joke but the only time I really mean it is when I see:
Aluminum wings, mismatched colored bodykits, neons that stick out from underneath the car, huge chrome rims, really annoying exhausts (sounds like a can of buzzing bees), Emblems that dont belong on the car (ive seen a Camaro GTR, and ive seen some powered by ... emblem on a civic), some body graphics that dont look good on the car, and stickers (have the stuff or not, they dont look that bad on cars if they are put on right).
Yeah I'll admit, Im a ricer. I have a generic short ram intake off a mirage, Carbon Fiber Altezzas (they look pretty good on my car), windshield washer LEDs (not hooked up bc the wiring sucks), alarm Chirper (booty call whistle hehe), and several stickers (NOS, Venom, MSD Ignition, Honda Motorsports). I rather not have any of those stickers on my car but my car looks like crap. Plus the stickers are up there as a joke. I will remove them when I get a paintjob and only leave our TEAM POS (party of six) stickers on when we get them. Just the other day, this guy who I revved on before who hit his rev limiter 2 times, followed me into the High School parking lot. I did the lil nod to him to say whats up
civic dude: You got Venom injectors?
Me: (exagerating) Yeeah
Civic dude: you know theyre Illegal.

He leaves the parking lot. haha. I should of been like you know modified exhaust is illegal, and that intake, thats modified emissions as well. But I really wanted to tell him I had a Venom Intake manifold.
But yeah most of this ricer stuff is all fun and games for me. I rev on other imports sometimes and I'll just look over at them and laugh. They laugh too and they show me how "hardcore" their Integra or de badged Eclipse is. Oh and I think I provoked some guys in an Eclipse to do a ricer flyby on me and a few minutes later, they got pulled over by the cops hahaha. Oh another time we saw a Thunderbird with 3 guys in it and my friend drove fast goin thru 1st and 2nd, so the Tbird thinks its a race. Wejust laugh at them at the next light and they take off and my friend goes as well. My friend is up 3 cars and he slows it down. The Tbird passes us up and the guy in the backseat is jumping around like crazy. I bust out laughing when I see that he has Indiglo gauges, and blue neons on a red car. Next thing I know, a F150 lightning passes us up and me and my friend are like Ohhhh s**t lol that lightning is gonna get him. The lightning gets beside the tbird and smokes him at the light. haha. The guys in the tbird were starin at us when we were about to turn and my friend drifted the turn. haha.
