i wouldn't mind another honda at some point in time. i do miss the fuel economy a lot and it was much easier to work on than my subie is. i also miss inexpensive parts and how carefree it was to drive the civic... i love my subie but damn it gets expensive!

so the dry run of my experimental wiring harness is a success!

i reversed the inner & outer bulbs and rewired the harness so that all three bottom bulbs light up when the brake is engaged. now that i know this works and my method works, i'll be doing it on the 04-05 tails later this weekend. super stoked! i'd do them right now but i've inhaled enough lead (from the solder) for one night.

did the passenger side harness on the bugeye tails tonight i'll be tackling the 04-05 tails tomorrow.

all these videos because i can't see the tail lights when i'm pressing the brake pedal down. video is the only way i can confirm they're working correctly lol. maybe some day i'll actually get to see them in person lol

driver's side: success with the 04-05 tails! just how i like them.

finally done with all the tail lights. yeah, i could've done all four in one night but i decided to only do one tail lamp per night to avoid breathing in too much lead (since i don't have a mask).
