I'm curious about I've heard of some systems take the blow off air and route it to the turbo to keep it spooled up when your off the throttle. I don't like the other methods of retarding the timing and riching the mix to create "explosions" to keep the turbo spooled. Or the EGR method either (proably works better). What do you guys think about this? I'd like to see a EGR/blow off combo, dunno???

how long are you off the throttle between shifts? because if the bov is doing its job correctly, when you mash the gas in the next gear you should still be in boost...

best way is a FTS system

pull timing and keep your foot on the floor, ignition will actually be exploding on its way out of the cylinder creating enough force to keep the turbo completely spooled. extremely rough on manis and turbine housings, but it will get the job done and sound badass while doing it

if your car is running only 800* at full boost, you're a magician

most turbo gas motors run nearly 1400-1500*

The other thing that i'm thinking of is called a Diverter Valve....Veedubs have to have one in order to have their fuel and air mixture running right.

ive seen cars blow stuff up with the anti lag at the tree. its not a practical thing just to reduce lag in a street setup. hell nitrous would probly be safer. i would only suggest using it at the track if u do run it.

diverter valve or bypass valve
either way it's just a recirculating bov

what he's talking about though is an anti lag system..... and yeah....
expensive wont begin to describe how much it would cost to do that to your car.

all stock turbo cars haev diverter valves, DSMs, VW, Subarus.

most of them have to becouse of the MAF system, the excess air, if blown in to the atmosphere, will cause it to run rich.
