thats basically exactly what I did. Except my PS button looks better because I tested it and it looked like the picture. So I broke off the head of the led so the light could disperse better and it fills the PS button nicely now.

apparently the first versions dual shock 3's will eventually have a spring go bad in the L2 or R2 buttons. lol

you can most likely buy new springs if you had to, its not anything too special.

and I just bought wipeout HD on psn... its freakin hard!

wipeout HD isn't that hard. play in 1st person view (bumper cam) for better accuracy and handling. it's nearly impossible to see where you're heading in the 3rd person views. airbrakes help, just don't use them like in the star wars pod racer arcade game. a little tap goes a long ways. also, be sure to do a barrel roll on jumps/drops for extra speed. absorb powerups if you run low on energy.

I've not touched my ps3 in like a week. I've been playing PSP lately. Lemme just saying, playing FF7 and Symphony of the Night on the PSP is f**king win. Stupid sony, they should have released these much earlier on PSN

we still have our original (NON GREATEST HITS) ffvii... and it's not going anywhere. FFVIII isn't worth nearly as much as FFVII.

any of you have valkyrie profile? it's worth ~$100

aye you are correct

imho, FF8 had a great plot but the battle mechanics were "broken" since levels didn't really mean anything other than difficulty. enemies scaling to your level is a novel idea, but the application was just horrible. i grinded up to pretty high levels early on and it made the game damn near impossible to finish.

I got to disc 3 in FF8 and it just felt like so much of a chore. I never went back. I hope they re-release 9 on PSN so I can download to my psp. I never did finish that game and I really liked it
