Rim size doesn't matter that much as long as its over 15 and under 18 and you lower your car enough to tuck or damn near tuck your rims

here's mine on 15" rota C-8...but yeah i'd stick to 15"s, nothin bigger than 16"s

just go to the 6th gen stickies and check out civics with 15"s....most of our cars on here have either 15" or 16"..check out the Post the Nicest 6th gen. and the Post Your Coupe, Hatch, Sedan threads
How much have you dropped your civic and what parts did you use to do it. I have a red 00 EX and want mine to look similar to that.

17 n 18s don't make your
ride look rice! People just to
paranoid about being ricers and don't
look at what they really want!
Im not saying 15s are bad but
16-18s are better! Jmoto911 post
sounds good!

i'm pretty sure people don't get smaller rims because of peer pressure. even if having 18" rims on a civic was cool i'd still get 15"s. they're a lot more functional as far as racing/lightness goes

have any of you guys ever rode with 18s...i have...on 215/35/18 parada spec2 tires, and the ride sucked ass...it was like driving on bare rims...the tire absorbs no impact and you can feel everything...imo go with 16 for racing, or 17s for show...18s look cool, but there is zero ride quality..

Lets see the bigger the rim the greater the chance of bending one. My car has ridden on 17" and 18" 17's were ok though ride quality sucked, be prepared to dodge pot holes. As far as the 18's they were really slow starting from a redlight, rode like crap, drove on them maby 100 miles, and as far as pot holes. Get the checkbook ready to order a new wheel.

But don't get me wrong I LOVVVE big wheels, its just that their not practical for daily driving. Too many things seem to go wrong. I am currently riding on steelies and loving it. I don't have to worry about lugs chewing their way loose because a sticky weight flew off, I don't feel every dern bump in the road (my kidneys thank me.). And if I hit a pot hole big deal if it bends one 88 dollars new or maby 10 at the junk yard. But I have hit some good pot holes with my steelies and no bends. And I will soon be driving on OEM wheels. Their is a reason car makers useually make small wheels.

How much do the stock DX steelies weigh? I am looking to get some 15" wheels. Any preferred wheels whats the lightest? Its hard to find OEM wheels that aren't ruined by brake dust and covered in curb rash.

16" is perfect for coupe, and 15" for hatch'.

But does the 205/45/16 tires direct bolt and correctly on for a civic coupe? (mines ^^)
