15's > 17's.

17's are heavier and have more rotational mass.

If you want POWER for under a grand.. junkyard turbo. Hands down.

the only way to build a "fast" d-series is turbo. it is still in the back of my mind =) Right now Im worrying more about getting a new car lol

sounds like you're looking for something specific... what's the plans? teg front end on an eg hatch?
i'll keep my eyes open, i see them quite often and as a dealer i can go to salvage auctions too.

awesome! I would want a 93 dx coupe.

And yes, I do have plans.. but more along the lines of a tubular front chasis lol.
