I had an NOS system in my Turbo Zook. The solenoid was crap. That was a while back though. NOS might be better now. It was just a dry system with a fogger nozzle about 6 inches in front of the throttle body. Fuel pressure was handled by cutting the fuel line and installing a fuel pressure controller that pinched off the fuel supply to raise fuel pressure. (I know it sounds dumb but that's the way it worked) I had the solenoid triggered with a momentary on switch in place of the compressor switch for my long dead air conditioning.

I could not spray at all in first gear...it would just spin the tires, beginning of second same story ,

i been thinking about getting a zex dry kit and using the 55 shot jet and getting a new fuel pump and maybe injectors. thinking its a good way to get that need for speed out only when i want it.

when it starts spraying (whatever rpm you set it at) does it just kick in like a giant vtec on steroids?

55 shot is not too hard u dont need a new fuel pump but u can. U dont need much for a 55 shot but at 75 is when u wannnaa beef it up.

i use nitrous once in a while now...since im not racing seriously or anything i only put the bottle in when i kno im going to race someone who i need it...im using a 75Shot Nitrous Express Dry kit...i upgraded my fuel pump and added an AEM Fuel rail and regulator for the hell of it..

i been thinking about getting a zex dry kit and using the 55 shot jet and getting a new fuel pump and maybe injectors. thinking its a good way to get that need for speed out only when i want it.

hmm... i haven't seen the ones where you set for the nitrous to spray (if there even is a system that does that). but my friend has a 55 shot wet zex kit. for 55 shot you can just go with stock parts and you should be fine. for his system and others that i've seen, the nitrous starts spraying at wide open throttle (like 2 seconds after you press on the gas all the way down). just thought i'd share.

with ZEX i think you can set what RPM it starts spraying on....correct me if im wrong

I had a Zex dry set-up, 55 shot, and it engaged through a Wide open throttle system, which means you would turn a switch on and floor it and it would engage.

i only want to use a 55 shot, and sometimes a 65, and rarely a 75 (which is why i would get some other upgrades).

why is wetter better?

Im thinking about putting it on my car. DO you only spray once or do you spray once in every gear 2nd,3rd,4th? and how long do you spray?
