damn, those prices are really high. $195 for an oil pressure? i got mine for a quarter of that. anyway, install them yourself. it not that hard. don't pay someone to do it. an oil press gauge is always good, and if you want, a water temp too, because the factory gauge dosen't do s**t. for the turbo, i would say a boost and a egt for sure, then a fuel press, oil temp, and a/f i guess. and there's always more too. but thats a lot gauges. depends if you want to spend the $$ and fill you interior up with gauges.
alright so the only gauge you HAVE TO HAVE is the boost gauge?? the rest of the gauges are pretty much very helpful but not have to's?? i def. want the minimum ammount of gauges i like the way they look but too many i think it looks too ricey... and i mean like what are all those gauges for like for example oil pressure gauge its just a number why is it helpful? ok my oil pressure is at "4" thats great but how can these numbers be beneficial to you? i'm not a cheapo like if i def. need them then i'll def. buy them i just want to know what gauges are crucial to have and what are not so important to have
^^^ very true. i recommend that for any engine, turbo'd or not. and there is nothing rice about keeping tabs on your engine and expensive parts under the hood. just get some gauges that are tasteful.
yeah, oil temp is a little overkill, i think. unless you have an extremely modified engine, and want to spend the money and have somewhere to put it. press is way more imoprtant than temp anyway, because if you don't have oil pressure, then your f**ked!
