i still need a wastegate, downpipe, oil lines, ecu, gauges and a catback exhaust system, and all the minor things. so im pretty far away considering i get paid $150 a week of cash that i dont use for bills. my project is on hold because i need to save up enough money to fly to my friends wedding in vegas in november, and have money to actually do something in vegas. im still hoping to make my deadline of january. but it actually looking more like the end of february beginning of march now. unless i hit it big in vegas *starts praying*

get a flange from bmcrace.com and go down to exhaust works on swan and broadway, behind the job site store. they're making me a downpipe for a hundred bucks and thats including the flange, since mine is a standard 3 bolt.

im in the shipping industry . i work at postnet, which is an authorised shipping center. i work about 20 hrs a week. i dont really have time for a 2nd job cuz i go to school full time. me and my room mate both dj, and he actually owns a company (www.hotwiredparties.com )and has like $75000 in equipment. when i dj, i make $150 a night. i only dj when he gets double booked and lately that hasnt been happening. last year i would work at least once a weekend. but there are very little bookings during summer compared to the school year because everyone goes home for summer. i know what you mean when you say it took you a year to build your kit. im going on 2 years now and still have a lot left to get.

does anyone know who drives the white itr? i dont know if its actually the itr but it has the sticker, wing and 5 lug conversion along with the type r wheels. its a guy that looks like he's in his late 20's early 30's, i'd ask him if it is actually an itr but dont ya think it would be weird/shady if someone at a restaurant asked if your car is a type r? (im the cashier and he always catches me looking at it)

i went to go get my car emission tested cuz i need to register it here in arizona. i laughed when i learned the emission testing was to check if the gas cap can hold pressure. they didnt have my car on the dynometer or anything, they just checked the pressure on my gas cap and passed me LOL

in cali they test your emissions. like they stick that o2 sensor into the tail pipe, make you pop your hood to check for anything illegal. these guys told me to open my gas tank and they checked my gas cap, yeah they did scan me too.

Just registered, been playing around in the off-topic section, but I wanted to say hey to the local guys as well.

I don't drive a Civic, or even a Honda for that matter, but I'm a car fan in general. Going to be at Firebird tonight - any of you going, or go on occasion?
