boost....

nitrous is only somtimes power....and plus u have to refill the bottles....maybe cheaper.....but boost is always there when u need it lol

I don't think i'd get much for it with two spun bearings. It would be cheaper to just lower the compression than to buy a whole new motor. If i lower it i was just lowering it to 10:1. I was told that would be low enough to boost up to 18lbs on pump gas and not loose that much power while running all motor till i go boost.

18 psi on what turbo? psi is irrelevant. fix the motor, sell it

Not too sure on what size turbo. Fixing it and selling it is not a bad idea except for the fact the motor in our crx is down also and my girl recently wrecked our explorer. So i need something on the road asap.

i definitely agree w/ what some of the people are telling you about keepin the type r n/a. that or sell it and pick up the gsr engine and rebuild and boost that. the type r is so nice n/a the way it roars in the high rpm's and its almighty vtec. =]
and lots of people are willing to pay big money for the itr engine if you do decide to sell it.

if i spray, up to what size of shot would it be able to handle safely and tuned?
