b18a1 motor swap PLEASE HELP

ok heres the deal...the other day i blew my motor in my car...it was a d16y8...threw a rod out the bottom of the block!! i've got a 91 integra ls. i'm wanting to kno is it possible to swap that motor into my 2000 civic ex coupe?? i believe that it is but i've never done this kinda stuff before...i've tried searching for a week now and i'm not really coming up wit anything on this build....i could use all the help possible..thanks guys!!!!

It is possible to swap that motor; it is one of the most common swaps around. Reference this thread to get started:

The knowledge is out there. Parts lists, using the correct ECU, even complete how to's. Search for "b18 swap into civic" or something similar on Google, and you will yield mannny results.

yeah its pretty simple swap my buddys just did one and we did my b18b swap while ago

main things will be obd2 alternator, distributor, an obd2 manifold would make life easier , and i know you have to change the t-bracket and the driver side engine mount. I'm not 100% sure of the 2000 civic but i did a b18a1 swap in my 92 civic

This is actually one of the three swaps i'm considering for my build. Once I've chosen and gotten started, I'll be posting stuff (or PM if you prefer, but I'll post so others could use the info too). Hopefully it will help.
