B18b1 130K miles for $150: Worth it?

Hello, i have a 97 HX w/ auto and am new to the civic scene. I guy i know has a B18b1 w/ 130k on it from a 94 teg. He said he would give it to me for $150 cuz its just been sitting in his garage since summer and he did a swap in is teg and need $. i have a few ?'s, would it be worth the time and trouble, i was planning on doing at at to mt swap reguardless to get rid of my POS CVT . i know the parts i need for the AT to MT swap, but does anyone have a list of parts i will need for the engin swap? Thanks in advance.

of course it's worth it imo. you'd be going from a d-series to a b-series. you would be basically upgrading.

You'll need mounts, axles, ecu, shift linkage, rad hoses, etc. Search it there's a few write-up's.

Buy the motor unless it is blown to hell than its def worth 150 lmao just sell it for more if you dont put it in your car..

Make sure the engine is in GOOD working condition too. $150 sounds like an amazing price.. as long at it runs.. how it should.

damn man, ur lucky, an engine for 150 BUCKS!!!!
Plus its a civic so it will run for like 100,000 more miles. my civic has 232,000 on it and runs like new
