I have a '92 civic cx hatchback. i just bought it with front end damage including front bumper, both fenders and hood. But i just looked at the engine bay and found out that it had a bent frame. One of my friends said to cut the front off and weld a new one on. but i think straightening it out at a shop would be cheaper and less time consuming. (The frame is bent about 3 inches towards the drivers side) Plz help with an opinion!

First off, :welcome: ....... And the only safe option is to have your car professionally looked at....Did you buy it with a salvage title??

...eerr... where to start...
:welcome:
maan... ur telling me you bought a car with front end damage WITHOUT thoroughly looking into it?
you only buy damaged vehicles if you know the seller is a complete moron of a pussy to repair it himself..or the damaged part was one you were planning on changing in the first place,
but oh well.... get a light in there and snap some pics i wanna see

OH, and btw, as i have worked on a couple body jobs you can only straighten metal so much, its it almost impossible it get it perfect.....unless u melt it and re-forge it hahahahahaha.... on a serious note i would rather get the front-end clip

I agree with both above.

On an side note, I never understand why people get into these kinds of deals. ONLY reason I would pick up a car like that would be for parts.

You say that you got it for next to nothing? So what. Honestly by the time you spend the amount of money it is going to cost to fix it right, you are going to be into it as much or more than you would have paid if you got a car that was complete.

There is usually a reason it is cheap or "next to nothing".
