Best sounding BOV?

friend has teh rfl on his srt4, its loud, almost to the point where its too loud.... his buddy has a srt4 with a different vaccum source that requires him to stiffen the spring, and that is even louder.... ill be using a 1g dsm bov...they sound very very nice, not real loud, but just right.

i have the HKS SSQV and well, lets face it... The sound of a blow off valve often does contribute to the purchase of any particular BOV no matter what anyone says.

that's very true....i never did get tired of the fact that everytime i shifted it made someone turn their head i dont think you can ever get tired of a BOV...too bad you can't make them alternate between sounds.

This is the most HONEST thing I have heard anyone say yet. Everyone has thier own opinion and tatstes, so I dont think its fair to thoes who like loud BOVs to be called f**kin ricers by thoes who perfer quiet BOVs.

if you want the loud whistle, then you should probably look into the GReddy Type S or the HKS Super Sequential

exactly what i was thinkin. i like the HKS SS better than the greddy type s though. i think it sounds better.

we all know, half the reason to choose your BOV is for the SOUND, if you say it isnt, youre full of s**t....
and if you say you get sick of the sound, you should be driving a rental car---s**t, sick of the sound---
my HKS SSQ BOV is the only thing that wakes me up in the morning-
as far as the sound- loud whistle, followed by a rattlesnake sound, follwed by the whirring of
a spooling ceramic ball bearing turbo is the very epitome of an auto enthusiasts wet dream....
who are you kidding, sound doesnt matter, get the one that works best- theyre all pretty much the
same....i've never heard anyone say, wow, the blow off valve really works well!!!
DO YOU?.... NO....its more like, WOW, that blow off valve sounds sick!!!
