Black '99 Ek

Got my hatch a little over a year ago....slapped on some 16" Rota Slipstreams with Falken tires right away.

Bought some blacked-out headlights.

Put in a type-r shift boot, Skunk2 shift knob and short shifter. Installed the Si grill and Tein Super Streets last week.

A few days ago I bought a CTR gauge Cluster.

Today I picked up a Skunk2 rear camber kit to fix the camber on the rear tires...the fronts aren't that bad. And I also bought a CTR tower brace today as well. It's not installed yet though. It will be on Tuesday.

I also bought OEM foglights, painted the glass yellow and will have them installed in the next week or so.

Opinions welcome.

n0ice mang. you definitly could go lower. I say, drop it a bit more and get yourself some front and rear lips IMO. everything else looks great! keep up the g00d work.

Thanks guys. Actually, since I've taken those pictures, I've lowered my car a little more. I've just been to lazy to take more picures. But yes, my car is now a little lower.

no thanks. right now it's sitting lower than how it is in the pictures, but it won't be slammed. it's just low enough to be real clean.

lookin real good there... maybe some fogs and teh lip. Overall real clean though, definetly gets my thumbs up. Keep it simple n clean...

I actually bought Depo fogs for my car but haven't installed them yet. I painted the glass yellow too

As for the lip, I will buy the Si lip, but that won't be for a while.

Sweet, yeah I had the depo kit and painted the fogs yellow - loved it on my black ek, too bad I couldn't keep them..

How come you couldn't keep them? And how did they fit? Because almost every forum I read about them people say they suck for lining up with the bumper.

Damn those are some old pics, can't believe I still have em. But yeah they fit up fine to the bumper, no problem. I couldn't keep em cause they didn't fit with the charge piping on teh turbo kit...

I think its the 16 inch slips..and the the stance and the lipless

Well like I said in the post... My car sits lower now than what you see in the pictures. And I know I need a lip.... I already said in the post I am going to get a lip. But I'm not an atm machine. I just dropped a lot of cash in the last week.

You're not feeling it? You have slips on your car too..... and your Civic is a 96-98 sedan.... how is that the same as my '99 hatch?

I just think that the black slips are taking away from your hatch.. i think another color and smaller size would look better.

we both have black paint, ctr grill, black slips, black housing headlights, and the wakaba badge in the same exact place. Thats why I say your car reminds me of mine
