I come home for the weekend from school expecting my car to be nice and clean how i left it INSIDE the garage. Instead this is how i find it.. I have a sneaky suspicion that someone has been driving it and posibly beating it





Notice the huge scratches.. I can honestly say i have never seen her like this She looks like trash to me
I had a whole shitload of stuff i was gonna install but i was so bummed out i didnt even touch the car..

Well maybe i did a little

This did put a smile on my face

yeah man.. my dad drives it for some reason. He doesnt care about it at all... I took out the driverside racing seat and put in a stock 5th gen seat just so he doesnt mess the interior up when he decides to take my car out after painting somthing

Tell your dad not to drive your car.... simple as that. If he can't respect those wishes, then take it to school.

No offense, but your family dynamic needs to change. I understand that it may be a cultural thing .... but my parents have more respect for me and my belongings. Even when I was 16, and my car was titled under their name, and insured by them, they had enough respect to ASK to use my car, and not to trash it.

My dad paid my insurance for awhile and his name was on my registration (when I didn't have a job for awhile). he never even had copies of my keys. Still doesn't.

Only my mom (and my stepdad) had a copy of my keys hanging in the laundry room in case they needed to move my car. They didn't drive it places, they'd just move it. That was only when I lived there though. My mom would rather drive her own car than mine.

Does your dad not have a car? I'm trying to figure out why exactly he drives it anyway I mean.

while i was gone to basic training my parents had my keys. my dad wanted to drive my car, but didnt cause he had no way of asking me if it was okay. even though i was on his insurance and the registration had his name on it. i think that your dad should have a little more respect for your property. beings how you've spend money and countless hours making it YOURS.

that sucks but its exactly the same way with me...but i drive my car to school one day my dad decided to take my car while i was sleeping and went to the hard ware store and then decided to put pieces of wood, hammer...paint buckets and the next day he told me that he took my car and asked me to take out the things from the trunk and as soon as i popped the trunk i saw WTF? i had a nice big hole on my sub doesnt even feel the same any more but oh well wa can i do he pays for everything even my cell phone

Dude.. I feel you.. some dads just have this primal instinct to be the boss of the house, and to prove it. My dad would do that s**t when I had an EJ8, and when i would tell him I had a problem with it, I would get the whole "I bought the car, I pay the insurance, Its my house" crap... which led me to eventually buy my own car and pay my own insurance... no one touches it. Then again, that meant going down from a 1998 to a 1990

My parents... I don't think they even like my car. My mom (PT Cruiser) seems to think it's cute, but to my dad (Jeep Cherokee) and stepdad (GMC Sierra)... it's a Civic... a Honda (especially to my stepdad). My dad's been saying he's thinking of getting a Honda for better gas mileage that his Jeep Cherokee. So I gave him some info on Civics and all. None of my parents would drive my car without asking though unless it was in the way in the driveway or the cul-de-sac. And then they'd only move it to somewhere it was out of the way.

I don't drive my parents' cars or my sister's car or Jason's car without asking first. I never drive someone else's car unless I ask first. Same will happen when/if I have children. The only way I'd be able to possibly not ask is if I bought the car (and my name on title/registration/etc.).
