That sucks man, he should have AT LEAST washed it, my parents have never driven any of teh cars i've owned with out my ok, they would always call and ask, my dad wouldnt drive my civic (keep in mind i bought it FROM him) with out asking.

anyhoo, lip looks great man, i cant wait to see it come back around, we both know u can get back in shape

i USED to have the same problem....i had a 1989 CRX with a ZC swap and my dad fell in love with that car (he used to auto-x smalll cars like fiats and stuff) so it kinda took him back to his youth...although he never admitted it, i would be at work @ the pizza place down the street and i would hear this exhaust that sounded real familiar then my dad would go flyin down the road in the crx with the moonroof back and stereo jammin....he was so bummed when i sold my crx to buy my hatch... he still talks about the car to this day...lol...I kinda wish i would have kept it for him, had i known he liked it so much..but i will have a hard time finding another mint condition, garage kept, never seen snow, crx around...

It shouldn't be too hard... just stay away from the Northeast particuarlly. Even cars here in WA are in much better condition just because the rare times it does snow, they don't use salt.

No offense, but your family dynamic needs to change. I understand that it may be a cultural thing .... but my parents have more respect for me and my belongings. Even when I was 16, and my car was titled under their name, and insured by them, they had enough respect to ASK to use my car, and not to trash it.

all family are different, but he makes a good point, in my fam, my car is my car, i dont pay for the gas(well sometime depending on the occasion) or the insurance, and my mom is an anal person,if im doing something she will disapprove of, i must wake up early and finish whatever dirty deed im doing and hide all the evidence b4 she get off form work. yet, when i got my car, everytime she would come home and see my car dissasembled or she see me adding parts that olny call more attention or speed (which she knows i will use), she would just say " i hope u know what ur doing" in non-bad tone and leave me be. when others in the fam complain about my loud music, my speedy driving and basically anything that might constitute a ticket or if my older brother/father wants to take it for some reason, my mom defends thats its my car and my choice. she has shown me alot of respect for me and my car since ive gotten it, although she still complains that i clean my car twice as much as i do my room (which is pretty accurate).

man...i hate that when it happens..then you get home and your car is parked outside the garage.
when i 1st got my car, id let him drive it..he pays for my insurance too and its his garage anyways..its kool with me. he taught me how to drive stick in the 1st place..so i cant do anything with that..
but when i got new suspensions and dropped it..and got a lip..
he gave up, coz it was too low for him..and he cant bring it out of the garage w/out doin crazy sideways exiting the garage.he would rip my bumper off..and he has to replace it..lolz

..sometimes i let him drive and im on shotgun..just wanted him to feel hip and young again..LOLZ
