what compression you choose should be dependent on how much boost you are going to run and your power goal.
for a lower power low-boost street setup i would prefer a little higher comp and lower boost. mine is about 9.9:1 with 7.25psi on a t3t4 57 trim. it makes good power for autox and still a good DD. i always stay out of boost daily driving which keeps mpg's up
