I've got a 22x7.5x3.5 FMIC from Treadstone Performance and I still had to cut out part of my front bumper support for it to fit. All in all it fits nicely in the opening of my front bumper and looks pretty good!
its that extra 1.5" that made it not fit. 28x6 FTW

Hah actually yah it is that extra 1.5".. cause that's about what I cut out of my bumper support. I got a kit and that the FMIC that came with it.. from now on I know to piece a kit together yourself.. much more worth it!

I put my buddy's fmic on his STi so maybe I'll just use his top mount...Do they make anything shorter than 28?

6 inches in high really isn't that bad, fits under the support perfect.

The intercooler i had was wayyy to big but i didnt have any lag or boost issues.. However i did run without a bumper support which was a big mistake

You can cut into your bumper support if you measure it correctly. I was just lazy

28 fills the width of the opening pretty nicely. anything shorter and you'll see the pipe ends on the IC, which isnt a big deal or anything but my preference is for the ic to fill the whole opening
