why are you wantin to make you cylinder walls thinner? if your runnin boost you would want it as thick as possible. why not trade someone for some stock bore pistons?
Rarely will you find a used block that won't have too much wall clearance on 81mm pistons. You might be able to hone and use 81.08mm pistons. You can bore stock sleeves to 82mm but wouldn't recommend going pas 81.5mm for a FI build. Heck, if you've got the $$ get it sleeved.

If you take a bore gauge and measure the cylinders in 3 places top/center/bottom, you notice they vary alot from factory. If your doing a rebuild its best to go oversize. go with the 75.25 mm (+.010"). That is .005" to a side for anyone who actually understands what im talking about. You will be fine going .25mm over. Also they will not bore the block out for .25mm. Whoever does it will just hone that out. If you cant find a shop, hit me up and you can get it sent up to my shop.
