Yea, our Civics are 9003, but he dosent have the stock headlights in. He has Sonar Projectors. They use a totally different bulb size.

gotcha. i assumed that projectors were the same bulb. thanks for the clarification.

Yeah, the projectors use H1 bulbs for the high and low beams. My high beams are basically useless now...they dont come anywhere near the brightness of this kit.

so, my conclusion is that eBay/sonar projectors + HID's are pretty much compatible IMO. This is for their H1 projectors only. I know that with their h3 projectors, you need to get a "mini" hid bulb so that the focal point is correct and you'll get more light output. Also, driving tonight in the rain is amazing...i can see a lot better than what i could with my halogen bulbs.

Damn, im honestly this __ close to ordering some hids. Seems like rolla is really happy with them.

But do I need projects? And those of you with projects, does it give worse light output
?

i have some 'eagle' eyes projs and the stock low beam bulbs are s**t output compared to stock headlights, maybe HIDs will help em out drastically if i decide to get em?
