My intentions aren't to keep the GL thread closed. I'm trying to make a point and it's being discussed in the mod lounge right now.
What I didn't like is the fact that nothing really happened yesterday except for some noobs posting randomly. Nothing new, the s**t happens all the time. Well, some of the OG members started to f**k with the poor noob but nothing really became of it. The thing was imo, just that the noobs random posts were annoying some of the OG members. A mod seen this and called these posts made by the noobs spammed and basically warned everyone. There was nothing to be warned about other than some of the og members getting annoyed by noob posts.
Now I understand that tonyM just wanted to keep s**t from popping off so he made that last post and closed/cleaned the thread up. I felt there was a dble standard playing out because these "spam" posts are made HOURLY by OG GL members all the time.When a noob started making the same kind of random posts everyone else did, you guys didn't like it. Even if he is annoying, I have to stand up for the noobs just like I would for any of you. The GL thread is my thread too but I don't like the way other's were treating noobs.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, just look at some of the bs posts on this thread. Now I'm closing this thread, please don't create another one because it's just asking for bs and I want to avoid that. We'll get this resolved and the worst thing that could happen is you guys creating your GL thread in the off topic. The thread is an off topic thread anyway. I know there's other regional threads similar to this one but I don't see them disrespecting other members in their thread and all members are welcome... OG, noobs... locals, nonlocals.
