So I looked at this si today and only have a few issues. The car has been smoked in and it def. needs a thorough cleaning inside and out. The paint is also faded a little on the top (florida car originally). Does anyone know how easy it is to get the red type of paint back to a deep look? I use zaino and it works really really well but I've never used it on slightly faded paint whatsoever so im just unsure. Also, the front lip is in need of paint and it got me wondering as well. Somehow (i.e. suspision) the front lip is really faded and the front bumper isnt. Does anyone have this problem or do you think i can safely assume that the bumper had to have been repainted since the lip is such a severly faded color when comparing?

Sounds like those parts should be repainted. Since you are a zaino user, you should have good luck with them after they have been repainted.. but yeah.. I'd be more concearned about things such as the timing belt and making sure the block wont crack lol.. but as long as its what you want and you get a killer deal even after adding in what you have to put into it (painting it..). Transmission would be something that you want to test out, try shifting from 2nd to 3rd and see how bad it grinds. lol... Umm... I have a 2000 SiR and the only thing thats "wrong" is that the seat belts don't retract that well.. the passenger window has to be greasded a lot or it starts to slooooowwww down a lot. Oh.. and like most 99 - 00 Gen's we like to throw the Engine Code P1457 ( its probably just a given ).

As suggested already the best thing to do it to spend $40.00 - $50.00 and have Honda put it up on a lift and check it out for you.
