Can the type R be made less hideous?

Here's a pic of the Type-R without a wing. Not sure what else you could really do to tone it down though.
I guess I didn't inherit the "tone it down" gene. On the contrary, I bought the Type R mainly due to it's fantastical style, then wrapped it to make it stand out even more. What's funny is I'm kind of an introvert, but whether I'm driving this crazy car at Laguna Seca raceway or to work, I feel like Superman. All the aero parts keep the car very stable on the straight aways, and the wing puts the fear of God into Beemers and Mustangs alike.

Maybe if you could tone it down with aftermarket wheels that don't look stupid on it like the stocks. Believe it or not some times it's the ridiculous wheels that people don't like, only a teen with FandF dreams put suck low profile tires on a big wheel, maybe same size wheel with less going on with more profile, imo a less complex wheel with more profile changes the whole car from as you say teeny, to adultish with car enthusiast at heart.
