before i had a cap, i was running just one sub and if i had the heat on during idle the radio would turn off, then back on every like 20 seconds. Definitely worth it, definitely does something, contrary to what most may say.

so im looking for the dual battery isolator, anyone know of a good place to buy them? i found some online anywhere from 40 to 80. how can i determine which brand to go with.

stinger is always a good brand, as well keep in mind you have to match the amperage draw to the needs of your system

since im going to upgrade to the 80 amp alt i am planning on getting the 90 amp max isolator. im assuming that should work since there isnt an 80 amp, all i could find was 70, 90, 120+. it doesnt effect the charging system as long as the isolators max is higher than that of the alternator right? thanks.

its has to do with the current being pulled

so if you are running a 1000 watt rms amp you might want to think about a 150 amp isolator

im going to be running almost 3000watts rms so do i need somthing larger than 150
