Good beer from Brazil i used to drink in Dr

Admittedly the taste is not to everyone's liking but it's a lot nicer than your usual Carling / Carlsberg /Foster's rubbish. It's quite a nice beer to end the night on after drinking something a bit more fuller bodied before it.
I love brazil :hitit:

Anyone who comes to WI, make sure to get some New Glarus Brewery beer, spotted cow would be the best choice. Not sure if its sold outside the state.

That's interesting.

Who else is on BA?

Favorite summer beer? Has anyone been feeling any of Sam Adam's lately...I felt like last year they changed up the malts and it left an awkward aftertaste and I just couldn't stand it. I tried some summer ale on tap last week and it seemed to be better. I'll have to try it in bottle soon.

I'm not a fan of Sam Adam's much. We hardly get any of their seasonal brews out here.

I haven't really seen it outside of the state. My wife likes to get a 6-pack when I visit home :thumbs up.

I think my favorite summer beer would be Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat. Has an almost Fruity Pebbles taste to it. I want to say that I think you're right about Sam Adam's. I have noticed lately a different after taste, sort of odd at times. The Noble Pils doesn't seem to follow that same pattern though.

Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat is some good stuff.

Had some Fraoch Heather Ale the other night. Apparently the Heather ale is possibly the world's oldest type of ale, dating back to Scotland in 2000 bc.

It even comes in a cool castle box

I really enjoyed it. It's best to have it while cold though. I don't like how the flavor develops as it warms.

I can vouch for this. I love that beer. Definitely has a distinct taste and smell of blueberries. It's one of my favorites. I'm able to pick it up at publix and whole foods. Not sure if you have either of those near you.
i went to whole foods today and they have never heard of it.:( but i did find out that each whole foods has their own "beer specialist" and when i spoke with him today, i did what i could to convince him it was the best beer ever, and he should find out how to get some. so maybe he will.

i also saw on-line that trader joes carries it. i drove to a trader joes in burien and had a conversation with 2 of the dumbest people ever. i showed the manager the brewers web site saying that trader joes is the only store in washington that sells it, he told "They just make that stuff up" What?? idiot.

so if any one in WA, or OR, happens to shop at trader joes or whole foods and happens to come across some SEA DOG, BLUE PAW, let me know. Ill even buy you a 6er so you can try it out. =)=)

Even though I dislike you, Trader Joe's in University Place has it last I saw. Haven't been back there since December though.

Edit: Enjoyed a nice Dos Equis Amber 5mins ago.

Dos Equis is one of my favorites. It's just such a good beer to relax with or have a meal with. It's fully flavored, with no bitterness, and quenches the thirst.

In the process of moving to an apartment right now.. I'll be needing a few beers after all of this is over.
