Had some of this last night, found two bottles I've had since the summer in the fridge.
Their holiday 12 pack is amazing from what I hear...and their winter lager has some changes to it since the previous years. Old Fezziwig is amazing, along with the chocolate bock! I wish they'd offer fezziwig in 6 packs.I picked up a 6 of Sam Adam's Winter Lager. I'm generally not a fan of most Sam Adam's varieties, but I really like the winter lager. They have two other winter seasonals that I'd like to try (Old Fezziwig Ale & Holiday Porter) if they are anything like their winter lager.
For me it's quality over quantity. And usually the Beers I like..are 6-10% alc. A couple will get ya goin'.I need to start enjoying beer...... Maybe it's hard to like when the only beer I drink is usually the cheapest beer you can find in the store..
I haven't met anyone yet who straight up doesn't like beer. Often times, they think they hate it, but then I find something they like. There are so many different types and flavors. Please god, get away from the bud light and try something more exciting. What don't you like about beer? Is it the bitterness? The general flavor? Both of those can be fixed.I need to start enjoying beer...... Maybe it's hard to like when the only beer I drink is usually the cheapest beer you can find in the store..
Too many people are so used to the commercialized "beers" they see that they usually don't realize what beer is. But he came to the thread, so he's got to have some kind of interest. I also enjoy converting friends into beer drinkers. It encourages me to try new types and varieties as well.I haven't met anyone yet who straight up doesn't like beer. Agreed. It IS fun converting people. So far, I've found that most beer haters who want to get into beer (the ones I've met) seem to like seadog blueberry wheat. I've converted a few non-beer drinkers with that one. It's simple, not bitter but full of flavor, and very sweet. Another one that I think would do the job for just about anybody is a good lambic (Lindeman's framboise specifically.) If you hate beer because of its bitterness or flavor, try one of those two.Too many people are so used to the commercialized "beers" they see that they usually don't realize what beer is. Tonight I'm enjoying a La Fin Du Monde (9% ABV) from Unibroue in Quebec, Canada. Mmm.. delicious. That's all I'lll say, if you find one, or any of Unibroue's varieties, get it! Read the back for some detail, but I have yet to find one beer from them I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

Genuine - Guinness Extra Stout is where it's at. I love an extra stout while relaxing at night. The first time I had it, I almost sucked my face in due to bitterness. It was definitely an acquired taste. Now, I love it. One of my favorites.
^^Yuengling is one of my favorite beers out of the crappier beer category. That and Michelob Amberbock. Try Amberbock, you might like it. College is where I discovered beer.. real beer. You just have to start bringing your own six to parties.
