+1 to Dos Equis and Hefenweizens..... I've got a Hoegaarden sitting in my fridge waiting for me as a reward once finals are over.
JBuck... I don't know what you've had or what you like.. but some of my recommendations
-Lager = Try Spaten.. It's made from a brewery in Munich that has been around since the 1400s.
-White (Hefeweizen) = Hoegaarden... Blue Moon is good too. Blue Moon is more commonly known by people.
-Amber = Miller Amberboch (spelling?)
Some others that are different, but good.
-Kirin Ichiban
-Abita (Wheat beer; The raspberry one is good)
-Sea Dog (Another wheat; blueberry this time.)
Those should be a good start.
On another note: I tried my first high alcohol content beer the other day. I'm definitely not a fan. It was called TommyKnocker Butthead or something like that.

I think I might. I really enjoy trying new beers. I don't even really enjoy getting drunk anymore so much as I just enjoy the taste and relaxation of a good beer. I'll have to keep new castle in mind.

I'm not sure how often it's on tap down by you but it's on tap here in Milwaukee at a lot of the places. I think it tastes better out of the tap than in the bottles. Might just be personal preference though. Good call on the Spaten in an earlier post. I tried that last year and really like it.
I'll keep those beers in mind for tonight.
really? I never had it on tap, hard enought to find it in a bottle here as for a while they stopped distributing it in Chicago all toghether

Yeah, there are a lot of bars here in Milwaukee that are Irish or English so it's pretty readily available. One thing about Chicago I like though is that there is no smoking allowed in the bars anymore. I can't wait until Milwaukee goes to that.really?
