there's multiple fuses that will stop that

there's a fuse for the ecu, there's a fuse for the ignition, there's a fuse for your fuel pump..... taking any number of fuses out will prevent your car from running, but then again... all someone has to do is put a fuse or piece of metal to bridge the connection and they're off and running
just take ALL the fuses out if ur really worried...i'm pretty sure people dont carry around THAT many fuses with them...and if u take the headlight one out, and they are driving around at night, they might get pulled over...then they are in for it. HAHA!

I just got my car stolen from sea world. I got it back today and the fu*king thing was STRIPPED. Im so depressed. All my hard work and money just for some waste of life f**k to take it away. I am glad that i got my car back and all, but what the f**k is wrong with people?!

The point is, Iregret not hooking up a tazer in line with my siren, right in the back of the drivers seat.
So save money for an alarm with a pager ($125) and a auto lock and take out some fuses or whatever. I never thought my car would be stolen so i didnt protect it properly. Now I am full of regret.
Ill try to post pics tonite.

if u are putting an alarm in, somewhere on the boards there is a thread that has a link to different ways to wire the alarm so it's not just a "normal" setup. also, i think there was another thread on different things you could do to make your car hard to steal...just try a search for it...some of the things on that list were pretty interesting.

be prepared to read alot though...it's pretty details from what i remember

I was talking to one of my brother little freinds and he told me that he is in to the stupid boosting cars s**t. But anyway he told me that one night he was trying to boost this car and he got in it and did all his s**t and then went to start the car but it just wouldnt turn over! Well all the noise from outside woke the owner up and he started coming out so the little s**t bounced. Well leave it to the little dumnass he went back the next night and figured out the guy had pulled the ECU fuse, he popped a new one in and the car started right up. Well the owner was smarter than him and had been watching, since the car was a recent break in the cops were near and the kid got busted. Serves the little theive right!

Take out the ECU fuse I do it everywhere I go I also disconect the starter wire if I am going into the HOOD. LOL

hm..ive got a viper alarm after my stuff got broken into last time, they tried again and the alarm stopped em, i wouldnt reccomend poppin the main fuse in and out, wont that kill ur radio presets, not the mention any power into the car?

if i didnt let my car go to s**t i would put an alarm on it, but seriously its a POS right now. about a year ago i had 2 12'' kickers almost stolen from my trunk when i was bowling. somehow the theives thought they could get into my trunk through my left tail light.... they broke the outer part of the tail and unscrewed the light bulb. is there any way possible that they could have gotten in my trunk that way? i dont think so... but yeah anyways protect your s**t or youll regret it

2-way pager alarm, so at least you can get a running start when you have to chase the guys that are taking your car...

definetly do a fuel cut switch on it... simple and cheap mod to do, and it saved my car. had my whole steering column smashed and they still couldnt start my car....

get an electric actuated exhaust cut out, mount it the way it says but plug the side that would normally pass the exhaust by the exhaust system hide the switch when you get out flip the switch, it plugs the exhaust system making the car have too much back pressure to go newere. pretty much the car would run like complete dog s**t and have absolutly no power, do that along with a fuel cut the trips when you flip the switch, yank a fuse, i doubt your average thief could figure that out...

Another thing you can do, is get a detachable steering wheel.....but, on second thought, that's about as much as an alarm, so nm lol

Does anyone else know what fuse I'm talkin about? ....all I know is my boi showed me it one time when i had to leave my car somewhere, I took it out and the car wouldn't crank over :what:
fuel pump.

It's a fuse from the actual fuse box, under the hood...
just take your ecu fuse out of the fuse box inside your hood, that should work just fine
