In for updates and they are looking good!
ewww it'll take like cheesey polish hahaI would love to eat lasagna off of your intake and header.
clubcivic no lie. There's a how to regarding a gsr swap but its basically the same. Wiring in vtec can be found just about anywhere on the net, its super easy anyway. Just remember to reverse the throttle position sensor wires if u use your stock harness. Dx reads backwards from all the rest.Where did you get your info to do your swap? I am thinking about doing one soon.
Got a dx ej2 with the stock d15 non-vtec still in there. Very nice build BTW. Can't wait to see more.
Here's the link and how-to that i used to help me get through the swap. Its basically the same, then only thing u need to keep in mind is, when u use your stock wiring harness, you have to swap the throttle position sensor wires because the dx takes its reading backwards. I believe its just a green and a red wire, simply de-pin them and put them into the opposite side they were on. Also you're going to need to wire in vtec if your doing a b-series vtec swap or just buy the vtec subharness from Hasport like i did if your lazy and scared to do a hack job with wiring.Do you have a link to some swap instructions for a dx? I did a quick search but didn't find anything.
Yeah i just bolted mine up. What i did was use the bolt locations that held the bumper reinforcement (crash bar) in place. You'll probably need an extra hand to hold both the radiator support and the crash bar decently level as you tighten down the bolts. Dont completely tighten them to start, so you can make slight up, down, left, and right adjustments. Once you're satisfied with the hood, headlights, bumper, and fender fitment, fully tighten those bolts.yo i have a Q nice ass build by the way did you bolt up the rad support if so can you tell me where and how cus mine is bent and i dont have the time or money to throw it in shop for a month and spend hundreds to fix it
thanks....im almost ready to start putting more money into this build so hopefully i can get this thread moving again. All the support is motivatingdamn, thats one hell of build that you've been thru... good luck and can't wait to see it finished. definitely sub'd
