just had it off because i was cleaning some stuff. But i am considering doing and intake manifold, tb, intake and sidewinder header just for the hell of it. Depends on if i can find the things i want at the right price. Dont want to spend too much of my swap money on this motor even though i'll be keeping the sohc when its out

I kept having the same temptations, an intake seems so cheap, but I think I'm going to save any engine mods for after a swap. Then again, if you're planning to keep it, for the right price the parts may be worth it.

You obviously ditched the power steering, what did you do to the rack itself to make it a "safe alternative" rather than getting a manual rack.

The Dx and Cx models come stock without power steering.

if you got the money, go for it man. The car is so light weight right now and massive horse power is really not a must to enjoy the car in terms of spirited driving. What you planing on doing withe Socher?

I just want to rebuild it as a lil more aggressive NA sohc. Nothing special really. Figured i'd tinker with it.

Like above, i just had it off and out of the way while i was cleaning and rearranging wires and stuff. Its right back on there like it should be.

I forget the tach is there. Gotta learn to use your ear and hear when it is time to shift to the next gear. Can drive with or without. You should be able to do that too. eyes on the road man. BUT never the less, it is a good feature to have.

Thanks everybody! you guys keep me motivated. Lip is scheduled for delivery on Tuesday...so it'll be installed about 8 minutes after i get it lol.

in the meantime....bored waiting on stuff to come in, i decided to polish up my fuel rail. Still needs some work
