chip upgrading,,help pleaseeee!!!!!

Isnt messing with chipped and rev limit and all that not good for the internal parts? If ecu being chipped, wouldnt u have to upgrade ur stock internal like pistons, crank, and all that sort?

I heard somewhere that chipping it adds maybe 10hp max, which isn't that significant, so the internals should be fine as-is.

If it added like 30+ hp, then you'd need to start thinking about internals

I dont think its gonna work cause ur car is obd2 and that car is obd1. u can somethin to make ur car obd1 but thatd b a waste of time.

u could always do an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion then use the ECU from ur friend.

What all does that involve? I am guessing it probably wouldn't be worth the tim eor money just for the use of the ecu.
