I woke up this morning to find my 96 EX coupe was broken into. Those bastards busted my drivers side window, and scratched up the drivers side of my car with the crowbar or whatever they used. They got my cd's, stereo, floormats, sub&, and they broke up my center console. My busted window is going to cost me $230 to get fixed. Everyone I spoke to said it was probably someone that knew me. Whoever did it better not let me find out.

dude im sorry bro, if someone broke into my baby i would flip. if it were me, and im not promoting a crime or anything.....officially.....find out who it was and just do something to their car, but be smart about it dont tell anyone about it and dont do something that will make them suspect you. but s**t like that cant go unpunished u know
hell yeah i agree with ex 2000, but personally i wont be after their car, it would be their well being, anyways enough of my testosterone raged self, did you make a police report? check with your insurance carrier if your policy covers theft, also get quotes from more than one repair shop, but if you isurance carrier covers theft then go to a honda dealer to replace the damage parts.im sorry to hear about your loss bro but next time have your ride rigged with an alarm, even though they might break in but youll know when theyre doing it and youll be ready to hand their asses over when the time comes, good luck on getting everything fixed.

police wont do anything...My car was broken into and my gauges were stolen, and I called the police and it took them about 2 and a half hours to get there first off. Second, they did nothing...so,maybe call them, but don't expect much from the police. How does your friend know that it was someone you might know?

I want to just give you some advise.....get comprehensive (fire, theft, vandalizm) that should cover the glass (in MA their is no deductable on glass) and some of the stuff inside. Then get a detachable face stereo. Next I would lock your trunk. You can use the lock mechinism on the drivers side. It will lock your trunk (you will need your key to unlock this from the back everytime) but will not lock your gas cap.....next get a two way fm alarm. I just got one on ebay for $100. It pages you everytime someone is screwing with your car....these things will not stop them, but might help. Also dont keep anything of value out of your car.....I am very sorry to hear that this happened, but this is what insurance is for....good luck man!
Yeah...its shitty..comes with driving a honda though..especially a civic. Mine has been broken into twice, stereo stolen twice. All they gotta do is pull that little clip on the weather stripping and stick a screwdriver in and pop your window. Then they just stick a hanger down and unlock your doors with the unlock lever.
But you really wanna a bad one..my friend drives a 96 civic..totally stock except for a deck, and a cai...the first time. It got stolen out of his driveway once, took most of his parts. Got stolen at a park in front of Sac City College the second time...took his seats and dash and everything. THIRD time it got stolen out of his driveway again. shitty huh
