Sorry about that man I'm pretty sure that anyone who has a Civic or Integra has had their car broken into at least once. Dude next time try getting an alarm with the two-way remote. It will help but won't stop them. My friend had his Integra broken into and he had the two-way alarm, all they did was cut the siren wire, It was goin' off but there was no siren cuz they cut the wire, and he didn't get any reception on the transmitter where he was at. They stole his DVD player and TV tuner, he had the DVD player installed two days before. When you get an alarm, adjust the sensitivity a lil' high. I have it set on my car so If you knock lightly on the fender it will go off. Better to be safe than sorry. Even If you do lock the the trunk with the latch things next to your seat they can still get in to your trunk. I had those crappy ass altezzas on my car, they broken into my car, and since the seats were locked, they couldn't pull the trunk lever so they tore my seats out. Dude get a good alarm you can add lil' things to like a fuel cut off switch, then get actual hood locks, so even if they break in to your car and the alarm is going off, they can't pop your hood to cut the siren wire. Those hoodlockd I'm telling you aboout are sweet they come with they're own keys. I have wheel locks on every single lug nut on my car, It's a b***h If I get a flat, but hey I know they ain't taking my wheels, I keep those damn locks on me all the time. Sorry about that man, remeber the more difficult it is to steal your car the less they want to steal it, a thief wants the easiest way.

time to beef up your security dude it would be all worth it. i got a lil trick for the trunk all you gotta do is disconnect the cable from the mechanism inside the trunk. this allows you to ONLY open the trunk by a key. foremost get a alarm installed somewhere that can't be easily found with all the add-ons that you need like back up batteries for the alarm brain, high pitch sirens, anything that can trigger the alarm, hoodlock, autoloc, club, and a glock.

ok, just an observation from my own break-in and all those who have posted about it. Locking the trunk is NOT going to do anything. These guys have broken windows and broken dashboards to get what they want. Locking the trunk from inside will only make them cut open your seats to get in there. After they do that then you also have to claim the backseat with your insurance b/c they went through it for the box and amp that most insurance companies don't cover.

Yeah, but wont that take about 10-15 minutes to hack through a seat, and pull eveything out? Beside, isn't thier a metal plate back there (there is...) so do yourself a favor and just lock your truck from the inside, it wont stop them, but it will deter them....

There are metal plates on the backside of your seats. How does cutting through your seats allow access to the trunk?
