To update about a month ago or so I repainted the valve cover. I was too lazy to strip it or to go drive and get airplane stripper. So i power sanded it the best I could cuz it was chipping and painted. Isnt perfect but better then B4 if you look at the earlier pics of it
O and if ya didnt notice I took off the heat sheild from my header. So I can at least see a pair of headers until my parents give me my s**t back including my megan stainless steal 4-2-1 header

What: Car meet
When: March 25->Saturday
Where: Cabin John Park
Rain Date: Sunday March 26
Time to be their by:
Registration for the car show starts at 10:30am and goes until 12:00pm, we'd like to have judging start around 1-2pm so we can give awards around 4-5pm.
Prices PER person
$10 Car show entry (includes food/drink)
$5 General Admission (includes food/drink)
Since this is going to be a much bigger meet than originally anticipated, we must front a lot of the money for food, drinks, and the rental fees without any idea who really is serious about showing. All indications are that a lot of people will make it, however, if we buy food and drink anticipating a huge crowd and only half show up, we are stuck with the bill.
I am also thinking of getting a few trophies out of the goodness of my heart for different categories to make it a car show atmosphere. There is a trophy shop by my house, so I'll get more information and costs. If we can get this done by March 25th, then I will definitely get them
Here are the catagories I was thinking:
Best of Imports
Best of Domestics
Best Performance
Best System
Best Paint/Body Work
In addition to the Best of awards:
1st-3rd places for Imports (1990-1997)
1st-3rd places for Imports (1998-2006)
1st-3rd places for Domestics (1990-1997)
1st-3rd places for Domestics (1998-2006)
We will have 3-4 judges.
Food and Drink:
We will buy whatever we can afford, anything anyone else brings will be added to the group. I myself am buying hamburgers/hotdogs, sodas, and maybe some pasta salads. I will also bring utensils/trash bags/plates
We will have a car show, BBQ, DJ, and a meet just to see other cars and meet up kinda thing
