I don't care anymore that my car's an automatic. I know it'll never be fast and I never proclaim it to be.

As for weight reduction... no, it's mainly to keep moochers from asking for rides everywhere... now, I have an excuse.

Resolve is a carpet cleaner.

Smells good and gets stains out. You really have to work it in, though.

Nice. Very clean. I don't see how you can take cleaning a car too far. I need to remove my interior some time and clean it all. I'll probably wait for the spring though.

I don't need to remove a seat to eep moochers from trying to get rides. I make enough rules that no one wants to ride. :D I had so many people want to ride in my car because alot of my friends' cars are pieces of s**t. So they ask to bum a ride in mine. Okay.... but no smoking, drinking, or eating. I am the only driver (if I want you to drive I'll offer) Don't touch anything on the dash. Don't touch the outside of the car except for the door handle, it's disrespectful. Don't talk to the cop if I get pulled over (god that pisses me off). And the list goes on. It's actually not that bad of a list. Well, I don't think it is.

You make it sound like you get pulled over on a frequent basis.
Also, why so many rules? I know that most of us love our cars, but come on, you drive a Civic, not an Enzo.
Civics are cheap economy cars, regardless of how fast you make them or how much you do up the interior.

As for getting pulled over, I don't get pulled over often, but if I have a passenger I perfer for them not to try to talk me out of the ticket. If I think I can talk my way out of it I will talk my way out of it. I'M the one paying for the ticket/insurance, so let ME handle it. Generally the officer also does not want you to talk if he did not ask you to.

I never said my car was fast (I think we had this discussion before) nor do I think I drive a madly expensive car. I drive a 1998 Civic. One previous owner. It didn't look new when I bought it, nor did it smell new (it wasn't crappy, just needed some cleaning). Now it looks and smells much newer. I put alot of work into my car, even if my work doesn't consist of boring and stroking or doing some other performance modification.

I detail, that is my specialty. Do you enjoy spending up to 12 hours on a project just to have someone mess it up? Oh, and I try to make my rules sound anal so that it discourages people mooching off me. I hope I explained it well. Try thinking about my reasoning before you post. ;)

I did. I just have a different view of my car than you do. I have to keep it clean so it looks good when I have it in the odd show and as well at the drag strip. However, I don't go postal on someone if they're going for a ride in my car and they start nibbling on some fries after we've picked up some McDicks.
You have to look at everything relatively I guess. I guarantee I've put thousands of dollars more money into my car than you have, yet I could care less if someone has a drink when they're in the car, because when the day ends, my car is just a Civic, and nothing more. And regardless of how much I love my car or how fast it goes(and goddamn does it move) it's a Civic.
If I owned a Maybach, or an Enzo as I mentioned earlier, then I might be as anal about it as you are with your car.

Well, I don't care how much is put into my car. I still enjoy taking care of it. =) I mean, I do have people who are allowed to eat in my car, just these people who try to mooch off of me, they are trying to take advantage of me and generally seem to make more of a mess if they do eat or something. Smoking is just not something I want in my car either way. Smoke seems to sink into the fabric and it's hard to get the smell out.

I might not have a Maybach or a Ferrari. I have what I can afford. I still want to take care of it. =)
