Now all you need is a nice lip to compensate. Do you have any ideas yet or are you gonna keep it as is?

i'm going with a mugen-style carbon fiber lip.

why did you spend money on a 99-00 front end and instead of sticking with your 96-98 front end?

Answer to the all questions:

Cost:
300$ - paint front end (& buff entire car)
Where did you get it done for that cheap? Are you happy with the job they did? If it's local to you, it might be worth the drive for me.

1) He probably prefers the look of the 99-00 front end
2) It makes you car look a couple years newer
3) You get all new exterior parts for the front. If you're getting a CF hood anyway, might as well get a 99-00 and spend the other $300 or so to get the other parts upgraded.

It's not my speed, but I don't think the logic behind doing it is all that flawwed.

I am friends with a guy who works at a local body shop around here. They are called RCI. I am happy with the job. They do most of my team's body work.

and you have shaved tail lights and a body kit. the most worthless mods I can think of. it's all a matter of taste dude.

the fact is, there's a whole lot more to the story of WHY I did the conversion, but I don't really think anyone cares enough for me to explain it. maybe I should've just said "here's my 2000 ex..."

I dont build my car to have complete function in every mod i do. Im not like everyone else, so i'll do something thats a lil flashy and custom. And i'd love to see your front lip you're talkin' about be "worth while" .....lips are just as bad as kits, just less expensive and flashy. Dont get all but sore because i asked why you did the conversion man.

we should have a poll, would you rather conversion with lip, or body kit?

also, i think the shaved tail lights look awesome, but i don't like body kits, some are nice thou. not every body kits sucks, i have seen some cool ones. it's all a matter of taste.

personally, i would go with a conver cuz it's a fun project, like puttin in the vtec light or amber climate controls, it's a weekend project that takes longer.

Im actually in the process of going back to stock bumpers and sides with front and rear seibon CF lips. It doesn't matter if its a lip or body kit added on. I just wondered why the conversion from one year to another, when there are some sick 96-98's out there. Everyone has their own reason for doing a conversion ya know

the reason i want to do a conversion is b/c i like the look of the headlights and the front bumber with those fake air vents, it just looks cooler than a 96-98.

I'm not trying to get sore or start anything. I'm just trying to explain my point. My point is, you don't understand why I did the conversion. I don't understand why you bought a kit and shaved your tail lights. To each his own. Not trying to bash your car. Just pointing out that everyone is different. We have different tastes. That's all.

Everytime I post pics of my car, people always bring up my tint. lol. 6% windows, 32% windshield. I can see out at night, but it took some getting used to.

wheels are tenzo shu-4's in gunmetal w/ polished lip. (for sale if anyone's interested)
