my hi-power used to touch my rear lip and was melting it...but insead of having the metal hangers re-adjusted i bought a 1/2" longer hanger bushing at my local auto parts store for like $1.49....they had them in a bunch of different sizes/ lengths. you should look into it. i think a shorter one on the left side hanger and a longer one on the right side will center it perfect under exhaust outlet.

you can try bend the hangers. if that doesnt work your going to need to have a muffler shop redo it with another bend in the pipe to kick it over to make it line up .
