Carbon Fiber is REAL strong. My friend has one that we both jumped on because it was guaranteed! lol! We must have jumped on that thing for a couple of minutes and not even the edges scratched or broke and it stayed in its origional shape!

You drive a goddamn FWD Honda, why would you want a carbon fiber hood? The whole idea is to move weight to the front to improve traction and speed, not decrease it. I guess it makes you look cool though and thats what counts.

I just dont see why you would waste your time logging onto a website made for honda/acura owners just to cut us down. i would never waste my time ribbing domestic owners. As if your opinion would change my mind about anything. We love hondas, there more than a passion to us its a love beyond words can describe. most of us live our lives around and for our imports. Even when im 70 old and gray i will still be driving an import. So heres a tip too you as a domestic owner, you can preach all you want to your domestic friends but please dont waste your time trying to false preach here.

another thing dodge dumbass, the whole point of a carbon hood is to make the car lighter. in this case it will gain speed quicker. now if you think about it what happens when you go faster? thats right, more air is hitting the front of the car. then what happens? you hit the nail right on the head, it pushes the front of the car down. think about it. its easy physics. think about s**t before you talk.
cf is very expensive. just to make quality products (no air bubbles) YOU WILL spend $1,500 for just a basic setup. Then you will have fun f*ckin up mold after mold due to the learning process.MC Hammer said:

Anyway I'm just pricing them now. It's not finaal yet. I have two companies that will do it but I want at least five. That way I can talk each one of them down. If I can't get it down to a reasonable price then I will just find a hood I like and buy it.

assuming your talking about the seller, not me, I'd have to agree, but you said you were on a budget, and sometimes you cant always go with the best. At that price, If I wanted a c/f hood, I'd atleast email him and find out whats up with that hood.civic_style95 said:
