knew someone with a nice altima, after he took out the hydros he put stock springs in and chopped em. every bump = loud noise from strut bangin into the wheelwell. not worth it
okay in order to cut the springs they will take the springs off so instead of cutting them and riding around bouncing all over the place just wait and by some springs or coilovers you will be happier in the end
i cut my springs... it really depends how old there are... i have 99 gsr springs and when i hit a bump it just bounces a little bit you get used to it, you can hardly feel it... really not a problem for me. but i am gonig to get some coil overs soon because my car is too low.
if you really want your car lowered and dont wanna spend money on springs just by some 25 dollar springs from a newer car and cut those.. but its all up to you i've had cut springs for like 7 months now and it hasnt bothered me once.
