should the cv joint be greased? i am not having problems but i wanted to know if the joints should be re greased.

If the CV boot is not leaking, there is no need to grease them. If the CV boot is ripped, and the joint is making a clicking sound, replace that and the entire CV joint. I suppose you can regrease them, but it would take a long time to do so.

no need unless boot is ripped, but by that point you should just replace Axle shaft assewmbly
