Agreed! I'd be VERY HAPPY with boost and pushing 250whp. You get the turbo sound, you get kicked back in the seat, etc, etc, its much more fun and cheaper...
Unless you're one of those guys who just wants the most amount of hp you could have just to say "I gotta civic pushin 545 to the wheels" only to blow it within a year... I'd rather have 250whp for a few years prior to it giving problems..

Oh, and I've heard of guys with Ds making around 400whp w/ stock internals but I would NEVER try that! Just imagine the PIA of fixing that, even if you already have all the parts... And I got all those parts (in my previous post) and I'm only N/A... I chose to go that way cause of my future plans to boost....

Another thing, building a D, regardless if its for boost or not, is a great opportunity to learn how engines work and how everything works. Then if you ever choose to go B, as time passes, parts will be cheaper, you'll have more knowledge, and have less down-time while building.

yeah 545 to the wheels but the turbo doesnt spool up til 7k, and he only runs it to 7.5k........what a waste of perfectly good parts and money.
