I think a b16 off a 6th gen si would be your best bet.

a d16zc doesn't have vtec and it's was made for older civics... It's a good motor for starters that have 4th gen civics imo tho!

i am tryen to get around 175 hp w/out add ons, i would like to have(when im done) 250hp all motor civic 4dr, i am gonna use the d16y8 and put it in a 91 crx. would that b16 be a (b16a,b,c) there is a b16a1,b16a2,b16b1,2...so far i got that i need a b16b 92-95, others said it would be easier but dont know, thanks for the info
