i used plug and play bulbs.. but as stated.. they create hot spots... LEDs tend to give off too much light at the source... ALL my bulbs are plug and play if you LOOK at the link i posted.. there are just adjustments that need to be made... EVERYONE who rushes it cries that it comes out like s**t.. and everyone who takes the time to wire in the extra bulbs has always been happy with it..Eran said:Or you could use PnP bulbs like I posted up and not have to drill holes and wire everywhere.

And like I said in another thread, there have been quite a few new "advancements" in LED pnp bulbs since you did your lighting. You've had your lighting way longer than I've had mine. You had yours for like a year when I first did mine, and there were no good options then. They've made ones specifically for gauge cluster applications now.oc_civic said:i used plug and play bulbs.. but as stated.. they create hot spots... you CAN just put the bulbs.. but on every car ive seen just put the bulbs in and NOT add more has had uneven lighting (hot and cold spots)tjlucas said:correct me if im wrong, so all i gotta do is replace the bulbs with LEDs and the extra bulbs i put in i paralell em
also, is it possible to get to the bulbs by the shifter, my car is sadly auto
I have no arguments with oc's results, they're top notch. I just feel there are easier ways given the new products available. Most LED clusters I've seen also have hot/cold spots, but that is because they're using single-LED bulbs with narrow-beam lenses (much like I did the first time I did my lighting).oc_civic said:you CAN just put the bulbs.. but on every car ive seen just put the bulbs in and NOT add more has had uneven lighting (hot and cold spots)
if you follow the links i gave you and do it like i did.. you will get the result i obtained.. i obviously cant say eran is wrong.. because i have never seen his car in person.. to get it perfect (to me) i needed to make all the adjustments i sight in the link..

Maybe get a new car... I seriously considered selling mine and getting an 00 due to the cash I could save by changing to a different color and the 00's looks.tjlucas said:correct me if im wrong, so all i gotta do is replace the bulbs with LEDs and the extra bulbs i put in i paralell em
