Got it wrong. I think what is confusing is that both 99 coupes are the same colorSundown said:So you bought a coupe, traded it for a 240 and eg hatch. You traded the hatch for the new green coupe, and now you're selling the new green coupe b/c you want a house.. Did I get that correctly?
Yeah I got the interior looking good again. I was about to order OEM bumpers and have a buddy repaint the car. But looking at getting a house so i am selling the car to a good friend that owns a dealership. He wants the kit and everything on it. He is going to have it repainted.turbo95eg6 said:Yikes thats a lot to work to get that thing looking decent again.
wait, so you sold your last coupe that was clean and jdm looking with nice paint for $7500, and you expect someone to buy the new civic all riced out with lambo doors, body kit, fat rims, and beat paint for $7000, i doubt it man, i thought the dealership was going to buy it off you, or are they going to sell it for you?DetainedCivic said:So I drove my car to the dealership. Ran awesome. Well once I put fresh gas in it. Old gas really makes a engine buck really bad It was a fun 1hr drive. Will take pics once I get the new wheel in. Should be here tuesday. I know the car will look ricey with the big wheels, bodykit and lights but motor wise the car is awesome. Im riding with steelies on the front and I cant keep traction at all. Really suprised with this setup. Wish so bad I could keep this car. But priorities first. First person to give me $7000 for the car can take it. Alone the car is worth $8100 in the NADA for a stock ex with 77,000 miles on it. You will have no problems financing the car through a bank at my price. All you would need is OEM bumpers and lights an be setup with a nice fast car. Unless you like kits then leave it on there.
Pics will come when I detail it.
The car doesn't have lambo doors anymore. The motor in this car is 5times better then the b16 I had in my last coupe. The bottom end has 30miles on it. Thats driving it from the garage to the dealership. So asking $7000 is a great price for whats in the whole swap compared to my b16 swap. Also the chassis only has 77k miles on it compared to my last coupe with 120k miles on it.Suanico said:wait, so you sold your last coupe that was clean and jdm looking with nice paint for $7500, and you expect someone to buy the new civic all riced out with lambo doors, body kit, fat rims, and beat paint for $7000, i doubt it man, i thought the dealership was going to buy it off you, or are they going to sell it for you?
Yeah I am to cause the car will have OEM bumpers on it, which I like better anyways. It's a shame the dealer is a lowballer and prefers domestic cars and high dollar expensive imports. Oh well, hopefully the car can go to a better home anyways and someone will appreciate the motor thats in it.r3v0ltcivic said:Damn manm very excited. Get that kit off and get some pics up.
