So you bought a coupe, traded it for a 240 and eg hatch. You traded the hatch for the new green coupe, and now you're selling the new green coupe b/c you want a house.. Did I get that correctly?
Got it wrong. I think what is confusing is that both 99 coupes are the same color
My first 99 coupe I sold
Bought a 90 240sx and 93 hatch off of a friend
Traded the hatch for another 99 coupe, same color as my first one
Had plans for this coupe but now we are looking at buying a house
So I am swapping in my built motor into the car. Leaving the bodykit and everything on the car and selling it to a dealership to help pay off somethings.
When I got the car as a project I never knew we were going to start looking at a house. But a good friend of the family offered a deal we can't turn down so the project has to go.
I still have the 90 240sx which will be a project when we are settled in the house and I get all my tools in the garage.

Friend called me lastnight with some progress. (I don't have time except weekends to work on the car so he is helping out)
The b16 motor got pulled lastnight. The flywheel was worn out, the ACT clutch was on its last leg. The s21 tranny doesn't have LSD in it.

We put a new Exedy Stage 1 clutch in it( I Like this clutch, had one in my old coupe). Tonight the vtec head will be put on the ls block and hopefully get the motor in tonight. The p30 hondata s200 is dumping way to much fuel in the car. I am going to run a p72 gsr ecu and sell the Hondata. The motor swap will be done soon, then some exterior work and then I can take the car to the dealership and sell it.

I will try and get up there this weekend and take pics of the rice machine :D but it should run pretty good.

I even plan on swapping the cf altezza's back on the car and sell the SI tail lights. Like to keep the ricer theme going on and the more aftermarket parts on the car the better.

Few updates this weekend. Got the motor running. Let it run for over an hour make sure everything was ok on the rebuild.
Waiting on my new rim to come in and a PS pump. The dealer won't like it if the car had no PS. I originally took the bodykit off to put on OEM bumpers. But I re-installed the kit, the projector headlights and altezzas. My good friend at the dealer says kids around the area eat these kinds of cars up with all the aftermarket parts on it. So I am leaving that stuff on.
However I took the car down the road with two steelies on the front and the car pulls HARD. In 1st gear just easing into it and then WOT at about 3500rpm and the car just breaks loose sideways. Friend that helped with the build says it pulls harder then his ITR he had. I wish I could keep this coupe and add the stuff I want to but priorities come first. The car is being used to pay off some debt. But my girl said once we move into the house and get settled I can start a new project  WOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOO and I will have my own garage SWEETTTTTT
Sorry for no pics again I forgot my camera but I will def. get pics before the car is sold, so you guys can joke about its ricefullNESS haha:lol:

Yeah I got the interior looking good again. I was about to order OEM bumpers and have a buddy repaint the car. But looking at getting a house so i am selling the car to a good friend that owns a dealership. He wants the kit and everything on it. He is going to have it repainted.

We already have the new motor in the car and it runs better then my buddies type r. Just doesn't look good with the kit on it

So I drove my car to the dealership. Ran awesome. Well once I put fresh gas in it. Old gas really makes a engine buck really bad  It was a fun 1hr drive. Will take pics once I get the new wheel in. Should be here tuesday. I know the car will look ricey with the big wheels, bodykit and lights but motor wise the car is awesome. Im riding with steelies on the front and I cant keep traction at all. Really suprised with this setup. Wish so bad I could keep this car. But priorities first. First person to give me $7000 for the car can take it. Alone the car is worth $8100 in the NADA for a stock ex with 77,000 miles on it. You will have no problems financing the car through a bank at my price. All you would need is OEM bumpers and lights an be setup with a nice fast car. Unless you like kits then leave it on there.
Pics will come when I detail it.

wait, so you sold your last coupe that was clean and jdm looking with nice paint for $7500, and you expect someone to buy the new civic all riced out with lambo doors, body kit, fat rims, and beat paint for $7000, i doubt it man, i thought the dealership was going to buy it off you, or are they going to sell it for you?

The car doesn't have lambo doors anymore. The motor in this car is 5times better then the b16 I had in my last coupe. The bottom end has 30miles on it. Thats driving it from the garage to the dealership. So asking $7000 is a great price for whats in the whole swap compared to my b16 swap. Also the chassis only has 77k miles on it compared to my last coupe with 120k miles on it.

I have to option with the dealer. He buy it from me or he can sell it for me and I give him $300 out of the sale for letting the car sell on his lot. I would get more if he sold it for me but it may take longer to sell then selling it straight to him.

Well good news and bad news. Bad news is I didn't sell the dealer the car because I didn't like his price. Good news is I got front and rear oem bumpers for the car so the kit is coming off. Just got the new 17in adr wheel in.

I will get pics soon because I finally got the car at my house :D I just need to get the bumpers painted and install them.

Damn manm very excited. Get that kit off and get some pics up.
Yeah I am to cause the car will have OEM bumpers on it, which I like better anyways. It's a shame the dealer is a lowballer and prefers domestic cars and high dollar expensive imports. Oh well, hopefully the car can go to a better home anyways and someone will appreciate the motor thats in it.

Got pics tonights, will have up by tomorrow. Not the greatest pics but the best I could do with a point and shoot. Couldn't take the car anywhere because I have no tags on it to drive it anywhere.

Pics are of the kit on it, but that is coming off soon  Can't wait for the OEM bumpers to get painted. Putting stock wheels on it to. Keep a sleeper look for it with a nasty motor sitting underneath the hood.

Here are a few pics I took yesterday. Waiting for the OEM Bumpers to get painted and then I will be taking the kit off. Also going to put the 99-00 OEM taillights back in. I took them off because I thought the dealer was going to buy the car. I am going to make the car look stock. I have stock wheels to put back on. Hopefully getting OEM sideskirts tomorrow.

There is no check engine lights either. Previous owner pulled the bulb out, I put a bulb back in an no CEL. Thats because I do my swaps right=). This was a very nice ls/vtec build. I am very impressed. P30 Pistons and gsr cams work very nice together.
