I don't know how much you know about guns, but they were not using elephant guns... You wouldn't see scraps if they were.
Oh, and why does it matter what weapon you use to kill them, that decides how humane it is? They are an overpopulated menace in some areas, and those game wardens you say that will bust them, will actually probably bust out their high powered rifles and take a couple down with them. Here in Utah you get $20 from the "game wardens" for a pair of coyote ears... Whether you pluck em with your '06 or whether you rally them with a 12 guage, it doesn't matter, it's that fact that their dead.

Call me a stoner, but those look like 30.06 and there is no way in hell you are going to even damage an elephant with a gun like that. The bullets from an elephant gun are about as long as the bolt action on those 30.06's and about 3x the width of the barrels...
sure buddy! I do know my guns..well some. Like for example Sniper .50 cal M40A1, M87ELR, M82A1A, Auto M4A1, HK5, M60E, M63A, M14, Semi-auto M16A2, HK5K, AK47.
