holy s**t. I always sleep with my phone next to my pillow and charging...maybe not anymore.

I do the same thing... My phone has its own pillow it lays on (bc I put the cord under it so I don't get choked up by it.)

crazy. if it's true or not, i LOVE my Droid and i'm not scared of this BS.

This. I've had mine like 2 weeks and LOVE it!! Mine is the Samsung Mesmerize.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Maybe that's why the phone seems "angry" when it's fully charged and starts flashing the whole screen and makes a quick buzz sound. Then it says "battery full - unplug charger". They might be trying to limit the chance of that happening.

wtf yours says it's fully charged and does all that? I have the Moto Droid and it doesn't do anything at all. had it since May or June.

I noticed though a couple of days ago the phone erases itself while i'm tanning. i always knew the UV rays were bad for the phone, causes overheating, etc...but noticed my texts/call log were gone after a tan. no more tan texting i suppose.

Mine has never done this... But now I'm not going to tan and text just in case... Got lots of things I don't want deleted...
